I will show you exactly what I am able to offer you through my personalised service and I will explain why I take many extra steps to ensure that your website is designed, registered and optimised down to the smallest detail.

Website Debugging and Testing

It is extremely rare for a website to have no minor glitches or technological problems when it is first published. Therefore, ideally your website should undergo various rigorous tests before and/or just after, publication on the internet:

Accuracy of Code (HTML and CSS)
Speed and Performance
Cross-browser compatibility
Compatibility with varying screen sizes and resolutions
Keyword performance and analysis

Not only do these tests ensure your website is compliant with coding standards and is compatible with all search engines and devices, but they are also important in avoiding lots of costly and frequent technical changes later on.

HTML and CSS Code Verification

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community where Member organisations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards. The W3C mission is to lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing protocols and guidelines that ensure the long-term growth of the Web.

All Sites Web website pages are run through W3C tests to ensure that the code is accurate and complies with their latest standards and guidelines before publication on the internet.

Speed and Performance Testing

Further tests are run on your website to ensure that it loads fast and is fluid, for example no over-large images or graphics are overlooked, there is no unecessary duplication of files on the server, etc. and all your files and folders are organised in a logical order to aid speed and fluidity.

Cross Browser Compatibility

Unfortunately, too many web designers seem to focus entirely on google. However, there are many other browsers that are still very popular, such as Yahoo, Explorer, Firefox, etc. and whilst a website might look great in google it could look slightly or even completely different in another popular browser. You want to reach as many potential new clients as possible, therefore with Sites Web your website is designed to be compatible with all major search engines and cross-browser compatibility is tested before publication.

Screen Sizes and Resolutions

With huge variations in screen sizes and resolutions, as well as zoom in and zoom out functions on many devices, it is all too common to discover layout problems across different devices. For instance, whilst a page looks great on a windows laptop, a slideshow may be too wide or a headline may wrap over to the next line on an Apple notebook or vice versa.

Whilst it is virtually impossible and not financially viable to account for every possible scenario on every single device and screensize, my websites are created with "fluid" coding enabling it to be zoomed in or zoomed out and the individual web pages are tested on several devices and screen resolutions to ensure that any effects on layout are neglible and rare.

Keyword and Optimisation Testing

You website should undergo at least some basic keyword testing before publication, even if it is just basic testing of keyword consistency throughout the website and compatibility between the code and the content. Further and more advanced testing can be carried out once your website is published and this service is available as part of my website maintenance package.
